Rules of the competition (version française faisant foi) 

  1. The competition is open to young instrumentalists and singers living or studying in Paris.

  2. Candidates must be no more than 30 years old.

  3. The minimum level of studies is 3rd cycle in the French Conservatoires (or equivalent)

  4. The registration fee is 50 euros. Registration will only be accepted when the registration fee has been paid. The registration fee will not be refunded or deferred.

  5. The candidate must present himself at the day and time of the convocation which will reach him 5 days before the date of the contest by e-mail. In case of non-receipt: notify the organisers at the following address : Only candidates present at the days and hours of the notification will be heard.

  6. Candidates must inform the organisers in case of absence.

  7. The candidate's programme must be communicated to the organisers no later than March 31th 2018. It should be sent by email to and must include the chosen scores in digital form (solo part + accompaniment if necessary).

  8. The candidate must specify if he wishes to benefit from the services of an accompanist.

  9. The jury reserves the right to interrupt the candidate and to not distribute all the prizes. In case of dispute, the president has the casting vote. Please note that the decisions of the jury are final.

  10. The use of photocopies of the scores by the candidates taking part in the competition is forbidden by law.

  11. Candidate must be present on the day of the competition with the original scores.

  12. The results will be announced publicly at the end of the competition on Sunday, May 6, 2018

  13. The winners of the competition must perform a work of their choice at the winners' concert on Friday, October 5th , 2018, the day of the award ceremony. They may, if necessary, be accompanied by the Via Luce Ensemble. The program planned for the concert will have to be communicated at the latest on August 25th, 2018. Where the program requires an accompaniment by the Via Luce Ensemble, this will have to be discussed beforehand with the artistic leaders of the Ensemble.
